Arlie rocked an amazing night at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City this past week. The band out of Nashville, Tennessee, includes Nathaniel Banks (vocals), Luke Shepherd (drums), Luke Saison (bass), Aaron Umberger (guitar) and Ella Horn (vocal& keys). The beautiful venue welcomed in fans ready and excited to rock out a night with the band.
Any good concert can’t be complete with the supporting acts to create that initial anticipation for a great night to come. The Sewing Club and whitehall brought their energy to the crowd filled with New Yorkers and those who traveled to the Big Apple to see Arlie live. The Sewing Club, another AMAZING band based out of Nashville, Tennessee, really gave the crowd whiplash with their insane talent. The rock band, composed of 5 incredible musicians, brought their all, really shaking things up and getting everyone to start getting loose, performing their newest release, “Cool Girl.” Next was the indie-rock band from South Carolina, whitehall. The four-piece band had such amazing energy and you were really able to see the enjoyment they had on the stage. They played their newest release “Dogfights,” as well as their 2 million streamed song on Spotify, “Vacation Home.”
After the two openers set the foundation for the remainder of the night, the lights dimmed and the crowd roared; the time had come to welcome Arlie to the stage! Fans inched forward to the stage, watching the shadows appear as the lights flared. The white outfits, mixed with the singer’s angel wings and halo headbands that filtered through the crowd, set the high that the night was going to reach!
Playing songs like “didya think,” “landline,” and “big fat mouth,” the energy the band put into their big night in NYC was angelic, itself. The stunning vibrations of the instruments filled every corner in the venue, along with Banks’ incredible vocals (and killer skills on the saxophone.) Their performance really added their strong, creative and psychedelic-like rhythms into a beautiful performance that blew the city that never sleeps away. The incredible stage presence was there, the personality was there, the entertainment was there… The overall show was a complete success.
All performances of the night were great. It was a blend of good music, good vibes and good people! With the supporting acts setting the mood for the night through their own music, to the crowd never standing still, Arlie in New York City was a show that can’t be beat. Catch them on tour if you can, and make sure to get there when doors open; you don’t want to miss one minute of what the night awaits for you.
