Cian Ducrot, from Cork, Ireland. Rose to fame through his popularity through his social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. Characterised by his heartfelt lyrics Cian has a mellow and soulful approach to his music writing, that's what I think his main draw is his emotional depth, introspection and vulnerability. Things we all deal with in life, just packaged in a sold out show at the O2 Ritz in Manchester.
The production at the gig was fantastic, the stage was beautifully lit (bonus for myself), Cian had a wonderful stage presence moving around frequently and melodically when performing Victory. He often paused to talk through his music and why he wrote the songs the way he did, tightening the relationship between himself and his fans. The gig resonated with everyone there, the crowd felt as though they related with the Irishman, whilst I was walking round the venue I noticed that everyone was either singing along to the more upbeat chorus but then when the slower and more heartfelt ballads like All for you started they were overcome with all sorts of emotions.
That's why this guy has been making the moves that he has in the genre. He has the ability to resonate with his fans on a deep and personal level. Creating these relationships at his shows makes the hardcore fans that will listen endlessly to his music and for good reason.
