DMA’S launched their intense dance-rock fourth record ‘How Many Dreams’ earlier this year, and carried on their second album tour in Bristol on Monday.

Opening with one of their newer singles ‘Olympia’ followed by a lockdown classic ‘The Glow,’ the O2 Academy was ecstatic to welcome the indie rockers. ‘Get Ravey’ was a particular treat - which many hope will stay in the setlist in the coming years.

Tommy O’Dell - who, as ever, had a phenomenal display - described the UK as their “home away from home” (in an interview with Atwood Magazine) and he really wasn’t lying.

Hills End (released in 2016) was the start of all of this for the Aussie trio and it’s pleasing to see how many tracks still remain on the setlist.

Those days seem so long ago though, as DMA’S continue to stride forwards. ‘Lay Down’ is no longer the penultimate encore anthem; ‘Everybody’s Saying It’s The Weekend’ has seemingly taken its place.

Worth noting it now appears their legendary cover of Cher’s ‘Believe’ is reserved for special occasions…

It may be one of the last times we’ll see DMA’S for the rest of the year but with festival line ups still to be announced, it surely won’t be long until they return once again.
